BJH Windows and Conservatories have been a Portsmouth staple for over 40 years. From its humble beginnings in the garden shed BJH has become an industry leader in the supply and installation of windows, conservatories, lantern roofs, replacement conservatory roofs, bi-folding doors, and composite doors in a range of materials such as u-PVC, aluminium, and hardwood.
boxChilli was tasked to design and build a new website that would help BJH grow their business in key locations via warm leads. There was also a digital marketing contract in place, so the new website would get the best possible start.
Given the long-term goals WordPress was selected as the CMS as this would deliver the best technical specification and speed. A bespoke design was created to highlight the high-end and aspirational nature of BJH, while allowing for an engaging, responsive website that brought attention to the core services of the business. It was also necessary that the website was built in line with Google’s Core Web Vitals and Page Experience Metrics to keep ahead of the changing algorithm
Since going live, the website is now first on Google for local keywords such as ‘Conservatories Portsmouth’ as well as broader terms such as ‘Atrium Roof Window’.
We have also seen over 170,000 impressions on Google, with Month-on-Month data showing a 78% increase in impressions.
